    Hi all

First of all i just d/l the software...i am newbie with this tool

I just cap a *.mpg file NTSC 352 x 480 and 224 kbps 48Hz audio and demux so i can have the *.mpv and *.mpa files. the prolem starts when i load the files to make the chapters.... i can only have the video (no audio) on the preview window... How can i make the preview to make the chapters with audio ?

I already try to use the *.mpg file without demux but had no lucky

This issue is very important to me because with the soundi will know exacly where should i index the file.

I saw that this software is a very powerfull tool because you can make motion menus etc... I used TMGEnc but about the menu things this second one sucks !

    Thanks for all Help

    Bye

  2. You can't, DVDlab can't play audio in preview mode, maybe a future version.

DVDlab was originaly intended to use separate audio and video files, to sync that in a preview needs a lot of code (I think).

Maybe now that can handle program streams in the future will handle audio in preview.

You need to check your chapters with other software and then input that to DVDlab.

for stuff where I have to key off the audio for chapters, I import the streams into DVD Lab, make a basic menu and compile the project.

I then open it in PowerDVD and go through it with a pen and paper, noting the timecode where the chapters need to be. Then I open the project back up, insert my chapters and recompile.

Yeah, it's a pain, but authoring progs with realtime audio preview are exponentially more expensive than DVD Lab.
