  1. Right I have about 700 e-mails and I want to send the same response to all of them. Is there a way to do this. I do not want to have to go into all the e-mails and copy and paste the address into a new one.

There must be a way !!!!

    Cheers for your help.

Its called a mailing list. Create one and get people interested in what you have to sign up. I'm sure there are ways to what you want also but geeze 700 is a WHOLE lot of emails.

Depending on how what your trying to do you could use macro magic to make a macro to reply to each, copy the text from a document, paste it into the message, then move the message to another folder. Have it rinse and repeat until done.

If your good at macros then macro magic is awsome.

I'm guessing these are e-mails you would have preferred not to have recieved, right?

  10. No they are not personal addresses. People have sent me mails and I want to reply to them. Outlook express will automatically copy the senders address to your contacts when you reply but Outlook XP does not and even if they were in OE I would still have to reply to all of them manually.

Okey, outlook sucks. (because you cant select several emails and click add senders to address book or address book group).

  12. Could you go through them and each one to your address book (or a separate one) then simply use the 'Export' feature in Outlook to export them to a .csv.

Then open that .csv file up in notepad, copy and paste the contents into the To: field and that should send it to everyone.

If your not good with macros you could still give it a shot I guess. You just need to come up with a loopable action for it to record to sort through them. Meaning the exact same process for one can be used by all others. Record it, then play it back at higher speed.

There not actually. I had a load of crap in my loft that I sold on ebay (yeah about 700 things) and I got everyone to pay through paypal. I have all of their paypal receipts and I have now got a whole other load of crap and want to sell it. So I want to send a mail to all the 700 people who bought the first lot to see if any of them want it without having to pay ebays listing fees

That would be the same as going through and replying to them all. Surely there is an answer
