  1. I hope this post is in the correct place....I'm trying to install the K-lite codec pack and each time the install gets to the 3ivx.dll, I get an error message stating that an error occured while trying to copy a file, the source file is corrupted. I don't know what my source file is and how to tell what program it's part of.
I do know that Roxio DVD builder will no longer import avi files (always did) so I uninstalled it and reinstalled and still no joy.
    Please help.

Don't install codec packs. Asking for trouble. Install only individual codecs as you need them.

    You have been warned. :c)

Get Gspot to check file/codec details.

  3. Thanks, I've already uninstalled that k-lite codec pack. Do you how I can find out what program installed 3ivx?

No, sorry. Never had to deal with that myself. Good luck. Hope there wasn't too much damage caused. Codec pack users have experienced probs with other programs once the things got on their machines.

Loads of threads about it. Try a search. :c)

    Yes.

    Open window.
    Top floor.
    Put PC through.
    Let go.

    It's the only way.
