I had a question i was wondering if you can help. I did a svcd file which was 3 cd's long and i managed to put it on 2 discs. now i need to put a 84 min svcd on 1 disc (which shouldn't be too hard) but i can't fit it. It reads 829 mbs on disc it shows 729 mbs. But for some i can't seem to make it fit on 1 disc. Nero is saying it's too big for my medium. My bitrate is set to 900 while the audio is 229 and i've even lowered the bitrate to 800 with the same result. Please help me

two solutions. 1 is to allow for overburning, however, there have been reports that this has ruined a burner or two. It can be done in nero in one of the options.
The other option is to set the audio much lower (96 possibly). What are you using to convert. If you are using TMPGENC, there is an option to make it fit onto one disc. -
i am using tmpgenc....and i've changed my settings accordingly the the guide. What i didn't think about was that both mpeg files are 800mbs + each. when i used dvd2avi i put both files in it and it made 1 video and sound file for both. I used that for tmpgenc. Could it be that prior to putting it through dvd2avi the files were already big and that tmpgenc squished it as much as it can?
