Ive been trying some settings and wondering their overall effects.
Project settings-change mpg settings-custon-compression-lpcm audio or mpeg audio. I tried both settings and noticed that mpeg audio can reduce the size of the files to be created quite alot. What is the difference using these? would both audio types work on all dvd players?
Also when i added my mpeg movie and went to create dvd folders it said it needed 11gb of freespace to do so for the whole movie, is this really necessary and is there a way around it, as i cant see everyone having so much freespace

3 things.....
First of all make sure your working folder has changed to drive which has large amount of HD space.
Second of all, make sure you have not checked (check boxes) to save or create an image file as well as dvd folder on the HD.
Finally, make sure total size of the file is not more than 4.7gb (hope you have seen this on the bar at the bottom).
Good luck!Don't waste your media. Burn it on re-writable media first. -
Ok ive checked it out. My three mpgs that i add to create a dvd are 775mb, 809mb & 811 mb.
It says its 5.7gb to create which is 2hrs 12mins long.
So even if i did get the dvd folders created id have to shrink the whole thing.
This was with the default setting 8000, i changed it to lower ones but file size didnt budge
to create dvd folders it requires 11.3gb : - (
