I want to buy Canopus ADVC 1394, however, I have seen comments on this forum that it does not work on XP, which has a Service Pack 1 patch installed.
I have XP Pro, but have no idea whether or not I have that patch. I would imagine I don't, because I had it for almost two years now and never bothered to download any patches.
But still, to make absolutely sure, I would like to find out. Is there an easy way to do it?
My apologies, if the question looks too primitive to you, guys, but my knowledge in this area is rather limited.
Thx Walter

Start Button\ (R) Click on My Computer\ General Tab will say if you have SP1 installed.
BTW...if not connected to the internet it's no big deal weather or not SP1 is installed. But if you use the internet, not insatlling SP1 can be dangerous to your computers health and a threat to your files.
Your choice.Geronimo
