Hello all,
I recently started ripping my DVD collection to my hard drives and i've come across a small problem. I am using dvddecrypter to get the main movie files, then separating the ac3 audio soundtrack and encoding the video to divx using xmpeg. Finally I am using virtualdub to mix the audio and video together into an avi file. The problem is that I am using an nforce motherboard with an external receiver via the spdif output. Media player will only pass ac3 via spdif if you are playing a "true" dvd. Is there any workaround for this? The divx avi file does still have the spdif track correct?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Russ
