    Can anyone tell me if it is at all possible to capture SVCD compliant video directly from my ATI Card? Ideally I want to capture from ati and then burn with Nero. I would like to know the quickest way to successfully convert a VHS tape to svcd(100% compliant). If at all possible I would like to stay away from capturing AVI and then converting.
    *MY EQUIPMENT*
    650 MHz Processor
    320 MB Ram
    ATI All in Wonder 128 16MB PCI
    Windows 98 SE
    Nero 5.0

    the answer is no, the ati capture will still have to be converted to svcd standards.
