I have been trying to edit video (avi, mpg1 and) with Premiere and no matter what settings I use, I get clicks in the audio at regular intervals throughout the clip.
Been trying to convert to vcd/svcd mpg format.
Anybody have any hints how to get rid of the clicks?

Try toggling your audio interleave, you'll find it in the export movie settings (click next). It should be set to .5 or 1. I read somewhere that if it's set too high it could cause clicks or gaps in the audio.
