  1. OK, so what can DVD-Lab do that Ulead DVD Workshop cannot, and vice-verse?

I am considering buying DVD_lab, but I want to know if you can do all the things that WS can do, or not, obviously!

  2. You can download and use DVD-Lab for 30 days. It's a full functioning demo, nothing is crippled. You should download it and do a head to head comparison.

Also, if you go to the DVD-Lab website(www.mediachance.com), at the bottom of the DVD-Lab page there is a section of "What DVD-Lab IS and what it IS NOT". Very useful for what you are looking for.

  3. I find that you have much more creative freedom with building menus with DVD Lab than you do with WS.

I agree with andkiich. Go download the demo and try it out. Find out for yourself. It may take a little getting used to at first, but after you get it, it's sweet.

The only thing I'm having a problem with so far with DVD Lab is the synching of my video and ac3 files. It looks good at the beginning of the movie, but about 1/2 way through, it gets off quite a bit.
I don't know karate, but I do know ka-razy! And I'm not afraid to use it!

  5. Spoke to soon

I've tried to download the demo from just about every site on their download page. All I get is 960 bytes, then it disconnects, then it reconnects at 2k, then it builds up to 15k, then I get a "File appears to bea website (possibly an error message)", message.

Can anyone advise where I can get the thing to download from?
