does the 2001 support folder structures on media ? eg. a dvd-rw with some artist folders including mp3 files ? or do the files have to be on th top level of the media ? a dvd-rw with 800 mp3 files on top level seems a bit un-handy...

yes it does support folders
you can put mp3,mpeg or avi on 1 dvd-rw...
everything will play ok... -
As far as I can tell with mine and whats been posted here and other places it reads it all, just doesn't show the folders. A bother but they'll probably fix it with firmware if we're lucky pretty soon.

Unfortunately, the LVD-2001 doesn't support a directory structure like on your PC as of yet. I believe this could be fixed in the near future.
