    I have a asf file that Im trying to convert to mpeg but TNGnc crashes when I press start for conversion. Anybody know how to convert ASF files?

    I don't care that much about qulity, just want to be able to play on dvd player.

    Try using Stoik Video Converter (see tools menu to the left).

    I'm sorry....I was actually thinking .wmv for using Stoik. You should be able to convert .asf files with TMPGEnc if I recall.
