  1. Ive had limited success using this program.

After it wouldnt create the dvd folders after half a day and no activity, i tried program streams separate to create the converted files that i would then put into ifoedit to make into vobs

Whats the best settings to do, i have ulead movie factory but that always wants about 8gbs of hard space to author from the mpg files and doesnt convert the audio.
And Dvd lab is crazy with it complaining about screen sizes.

How can i get svcd2dvdmpg+ fully functional to do the dvd folders at first attempt. Ive tried it with only two mpgs before of about 700 each, and also of 3 mpgs totally about 2.3gbs

Ive looked at past questions etc but still no success, ive made two movies from the program streams method and then into ifoedit, but now my 3mpgs totally 2.3gbs doesnt get past the first mpg

Looks like ive wasted a Fiver if someone cant solve this mystery why i cant get half as much productivity out of this program

  2. They only way svcd2dvd (version 1.5, if you don't have it download it with manual update) will not do what it is suppose to do is when you got mpgs that aren't the right format svcd or vcd. Could you tells what what mpgs your using and what width, height, fps and audio bitrate they have.

Another think what could happen is you don't have enough discspace. you need 2 times the input mpg size as free disc space.

    Greatings,

  3. Ok here are the details

Firstly i tried installing version 1.5 but thqat pc aint on the net, i copied files from net and put them where i should but still it wantedto launch the net, i had the same program getting the nromal version1. and especially with getting nothing out of this program at all, im losing hope

    All the Mpg files are
    fps 25-pal
    horizontal - 352
    vertical - 576
    size 480x576
    aspect ratio 4:3
    File Sizes

    Mpg 1 - 795
    Mpg2 - 829
    Mpg3 - 795
And audio is 4400 for all as i know i need to convert to 48k for dvd.

They only way svcd2dvd (version 1.5, if you don't have it download it with manual update) will not do what it is suppose to do is when you got mpgs that aren't the right format svcd or vcd. Could you tells what what mpgs your using and what width, height, fps and audio bitrate they have.

I have 10gbs of hard drive space so that rules out that element

    I have this problem too.
Found out that the Mpg files I was working with are actualt .dat files just copied from the VCD.
I used MPG Header repair to repair them and after it it works...

Woeld be an idea to put a bit of repair in SVCD2DVD maybe....
