Question about Meritline BeAll 1x-4x Certified DVD-R discs

Hello

I have two questions about the BeAll 1x-4x Certified DVD-R discs that Meritline.com carries:

1.) Are they plain silver color on the top (i.e., logo free)
2.) Will they burn at 2x on a Pioneer A04/104 that has the original firmware

1. Yes both -R and +R are plain silver tops no printing at all.
2. They do have a valid 2x write strategy so they should but I do
not have a A04/104 with original firmware only A05 and and a 106
and they burn at 4x of course. Quality is superb, some of the best
discs I have used.
