  1. Im new to the DVD burner thing and basically dont know anything about it. My problem is: I use DVD-RAM's to put my MP3's and such so they arent on my HD, well I have like 3 of them that are blank and when I put them in I usually just drag the files I want to put on them and drop them onto the drive in windows explorer. Well the last 5 or so I bought dont do anything, when I try and move files to the it says "please insert disc" like there isnt anything in the drive. Why does it do this and how can I fix it so I can get some of this stuff off my HD?
    Thanks for the help.

  3. Wish I could help you dude. I am not learned in the school of DVD-RAM. Ever considered backing up onto CD-R or DVD-R? How large is your collection? Might save you a bit of money to migrate to a different medium, I can imagine DVD-RAM discs aren't too cheap. Hope someone is able to help you with your problem.
