    hi,
i just got the above mentioned card, i bought it soley for video capture. can anybody suggest an easy peasy capture program for me to use as all this stuff about frame rates and dropped frames is another language to me. i tried virtualdub but it seem to be complicated, i cant get my preview working. i play a video i want to capture, i cant see it on the screen. i am connecting my vcr with an svideo cable to the radeon card but i dont seem to get anything on my screen from the video.
i know you heard this before, but im a newbie to all this capture world, please help me use this great card to capture my videos.
    thanks

Just do what lordsmurf said and use the capture utility that came with the card.
My AVI -> Any Format Guide is available here.
My Frame Resize Calculator (enhanced for Virtualdub) is available here
