ok first of all i use the dvd decryptor theninstant copy method. i successfully burned saving private ryan the other day without hitch. i am now trying to backup the recruit. i let instant copy encode to desired quality and then when it comes time to burn i get a power calibration error. i have a pioneer dvr104 burner. todays message i do not think had the same error but had some numbers like:
70 00 etc etc. anyone know anyway to fix/prevent this?!?! thank you much in advance

This might be a hardware problem. Check to see if you have a million things sharing your computers power (i.e. 6USB devices, 4-5IDE connections in use, things like that).

I'm not an expert on this, but yes, try unpluging everything and see what that does.

I have a Pioneet 105, and I had the same problem. Upgrading to the latest firmware fixed it for me. You might look in that direction.
