DIVX TO VCD

How do I convert my Divix (matrix) to vcd so I can play it on a regular dvd player?

I have done that I get an error that says:
File"E:\The matrix.avi" cannot open or unsupported.

2 things:

1.)if E is your CD-ROM drive letter make srue the Cd with the matrix is in )

2.)download the divx codec(s). its in http://www.vcdhelp.com/vcdtools.htm

Try this

Open tmpg and try to change the settings in TMPGEnc under Option->Environmental settings->VFAPI plug-in and right click on the AVI VFW and increase the priority to 1 and try open the video.
