I seem to be losing headers in my GOPs when I create elementary streams in SVCD2DVDMPG+. I get a "temporal references in GOP are out of sequence" error in SpruceUP when I try to load the files. Is this a known problem? My settings in SVCD2DVDMPG+ are shown in the attached file.

Problem must be in SVCD2DVDMPG+. When I demuxed with TMPGEnc, problem went away. Could it be the pan-and-scan fix that causing the problem? I hope not, that's the main reason I decided to try SVCD2DVDMPG+.

  3. If it is you can always use dvdlab to author your dvd's. I like that more then SpruceUP cause spruce is to picky about the input files.

Thanks. I'll give dvdlab a try. I discovered it is the Pioneer pan-scan fix that's causing the trouble. Has anyone had success using the pan-scan fix and SpruceUP?
