I don't under stand your second post

You found and posted a HIGH QUALITY device that does the job
(its over a thousand dollars I'd expect- or L500)

I posted a piece of junk that has a VGA input you can capture at low res
    from..

What is your second post about?

dcsos what you post is know as VGA Overlay Passthough if ever had REALmagic Hollywood Plus/Xcard or Voodoo1/2 then know what I'm talk about.
What it dose OverLay the Video signal rigth to Monitor without going thur USB cable to Video card and doing the Overlay that.
    For Example this device http://www.grand.com.tw/PRODUCT/TVBOX/POP.HTML
What this USB device also dose it allow to run the device with out turn on PC turn so you ca turn your monitor in TV with the rest of the PC even being turn on.

You are trying to tell me the device I posted will not capture from the VGA INPUT colored below, but will only display such an input?..
Why wouldn't it record it if the PC inquestion was powered up?

  10. thank's everybody for the information, the video capture card that I need is something like SHS said http://www.ems-digitalmedia.com/html/visionrgbpro.html

this this What I want to do:
I can capture video from RCA,S-Video,1934.
and the video resolution is something like this,RCA=240 lines,S-Video=400 lines and 1934=500 lines,

I want to capture video from VGA or SVGA because I have video line doubler,so I conect my video sources to this Ithem and I can get a VGA,SVGA,XSVGA out put.

So I want to capture video from those format(VGA,SVGA,XSVGA) because the video resolution is better,I hope this post is clear for everybody.

This makes no sense... If your source is VHS, you're never going to get better than VHS. If your output is DVD you can't go higher than 720X480. What is 1934?????

So how you can explain how does the video proyectors work,
because you can use the RCA video input and then you can select the video resolution output (VGA,SVGA,XSVGA) so what are you saying is that if I plug a RCA video source and I wacht on any video proyector the quality will be
poor even if I select SVGA out put.
I have a VIDEO LINE DOUBLER AND CAN GET DOUBLE THE LINES OF MI VIDEO.

  14. What the hell is a "proyector"?

What I'm saying if your source is VHS, no matter what you do you are still going to have nothing more than VHS quality. A line doubler is nothing, it just doubles the available lines, it's not going to increase your source resolution and once you convert to Digital there are no more lines anyway. Digital video is constructed of pixles not lines. Capturing VHS at D1 (720X480) isn't going to make it look any better than capturing at 352X480...

  16. It still means nothing. DVD's highest resolution is 720X480. If your output media is DVD you're going to have to recompress down and that will only cause further video degredation....

you just answered my question,if I capture video from RCA (240 lines)I can converter to a dvd quality(500) lines.

this is what I want to do. at the end do I going to get 500 lines of resolution?
