  1. Hi everyone,

Please help. I tried to burn a vcd movie from BIN/CUE files that I created with CDRWIN3.9. The original vcd movie is good. The BIN/CUE files I created are good. I tested them with virtual DAEMON. The problem I am having is that the vcd which I burned from the BIN/CUE files using CDRWIN3.9 cannot play by my DVD player or the computer. The DVD player recognized it as an audio cd. In addition, windows explorer cannot read any files in the disc. My DVD player is capable of playing vcd movies. I have Windows XP. Any help is sincerely appreciated. The setting for CDRWIN3.9 is at default.

  3. Hi,

Thank you very much for your speedy response, Poopyhead. No, I have not try fireburner. But I did try Nero and it gave the same problem. I noticed that when making the BIN/CUE image files with CDRWIN3.9, one of the default setting was Audio (2352) as datatype. Could this be the problem? Once again thank you very much.

  8. Isn't CDRWin up to v4.0+ now? IIRC some of the older verisons had problems burning to 80min CDRs (ie. only burned to 74min discs). Besides fireburning, try CDRDAO it's freeware.

But it's also commandline based so you might want to get a GUI for it. XDuplicator (google search) is a good one, but VCDEasy also uses it. All three programs are freeware (nb VCDEasy is now shareware it appears but older verisons are just as good and freeware).
