I know that there is a tutorial on here to convert RM to AVI, and I'm not sure if you can go backwards with the tutorial, but I was wondering if anyone knew how to convert AVI to a streaming format, whether it be RM or WMP. I not only would like to put my DV caps on disc, but I would also like to stream them from the web.
First and foremost, however, I would like to compress the AVI (if, that is, it does not compress as you are converting to a streaming format) as the AVI's that I captured from my DV cam are huge (e.g. 92MB AVI is only 25 seconds in length!)!
I have seen some sites with a streaming format ".mpa" which is a variation of ".mpg" which streams in quicktime, so that may be an option.
Please advise.
Thanx.
