Probably a very silly question but here it is.
I have a Matrox G400 Marvel, Panasonic DV601 and firewire and am trying to keep them all happy with Windows XP.
1)Should I be able to use my DV601 via firewire as a webcam? I know its a pretty expensive setup for a webcam but was wondering if firewire can work that way.
2) When I set up Windows Messager in XP and select the audio and tuning wizard I have a choice of 3 cameras:
A) Matrox VidCap : Doesn't work
B) Matrox WDM Capture: Doesn't work
C) Microsoft DV Camera and VCR : Doesn't work
I realize Matrox doesn't support the G400 Marvel under XP so is there anything to work?
