  1. Okay the first time I posted this it was locked because I posted it more than one time. I hope by not doing this that this is considered a violation again. I just need some help please.

I am trying to use nerovision 2 to compose a svcd into a DVD-R, but the problem I am running into is that its taking me 4 to 7 hours to do so. This is also the result when using Ulead movie factory. I have a friend that does it in 45min, but he will not tell me.

    I am using a Athlon 2000+
    1gig pc2700 memory
    430gig Hard drive space
    2 Sony DRU-510 burners

I have tried to compress the SVCD and still get 4-7 hours of time. I also tried demuxing and splitting the audio, that does not work either.

Someone please help and tell me how to get this done in a short amount of time.

your friend i presume is only putting the svcd onto dvd and editing the ifo file to cheat the player
this is ok if your standalone will support it
what nero is doing is convering the svcd mpeg to a dvd spec mpeg this is why the long coding time
i suggest if your player will play svcd on dvd then get dvdlab as its very simple to put svcd onto dvd with this plus dvdlab is the best authoring tool anyway(unless youve got time to build tour own menus from scratch)
whats that your reading hope its work (s**t caught again)

  3. I have been using DVD-Lab, but when the SVCD is in PAL format not most players will play them. Do you know how to convert the files into NTSC in a fast matter? I have looked at all the guides, but they take to long.

I was using DVD Patcher, but dont really know the right settings to place. Would you or anyone know the right settings?
