Backing up dvd with 'dvd shrink'

Hey

Im trying to backup one of my dvd's for the first time with 'dvd shrink'. I had to put the extras which where on the dvd to 'still pictures' to make it fit onto one dvdr. I didnt change anything to do with the menus or the main movie. I pressed 'backup' and im left with a lot of vob files in the folder i specified them to go to.

What do i do with the vob files? How do i get them onto a dvdr disk so I can make a working backup of my dvd that will play in my dvd player?

Create a VIDEO_TS and an AUDIO_TS folder and copy all of those files that DVDShrink created into the VIDEO_TS folder and burn with RecordNow Max or I believe NERO will do it as well. Test on a DVD-RW first.

If you have Nero Express, you can just drag all of the files into Nero Express, and it will take care of all the file arrangement and burn the disk. I have done this many times after using DVDShrink, and so far so good.

like ebenton, i also use nero express....very simple GUI...works great.

I chose 'dvd video'. Is there any settings i should change on the tabs?
And will this work on all dvd players? Cheers

I had the same problem at first. Chances are you did not re-author to strip out just the movie.

no need to change any settings...you may wanna select your burn speed....
