I am just wondering... Some, well actually most of the movies I have are all around the 6GB-7GB range...
The thing is I don't really care about special featuers, or scene selection or whatnot, so I usually just rip the movie... and that's usually around 4-5GB's, sometimes higher, sometimes lower...
In any case, I ripped Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels today, and I see that this movie is only 4GB's, which is perfect since I don't have to compress it and lose quality...
But when I try to burn the movie(I only extract movie files with Smart Rip) in Nero Express, it says it 'these files might not play on you're DVD player' or something to that extent... So process it with DVD2One, and then I can manage to burn with Nero... but my problem is that when I use DVD2One to process the files(the movie), it will also compress it, even though it doesn't need to be compressed...
Anyone got any ideas on how to aviod this?

But how come in Nero Express it says that they might not be playable?
Also, what do you mean by rearrange? When I check the size of both folders from the DVD (The rip and the DVD2One processed) the size on the processed folder is lower... not by much, but stilll... -
I believe Nero says it may be unplayable because it lacks the VIDEO_TS.IFO file that controls overall playback. If you just rip the movie, you will not have this file, and although it may work in many players, it will not be up to specs. Ways around this include remaking IFO's with IFOEDIT, or simply running it through dvdshrink or dvd2one. I prefer dvdshrink even for the movie because it is usually faster than rebuilding IFO's.

I think I tried to burn the movie only files once and it didn't work. I was thinking just like you, that if I pick the movie only files they are right to fit on the one disk straight after ripping.
My thoughts are that because you are using DVD decrypter in File mode it will not work (iso mode will work just fine). DVD2One puts the movie back into a playable format. It might shrink it a little bit more, but who cares. The picture quality is still as good as if you did a straight DVD5 copy.
Good luck,
Oh, and if for some reason you ever figure out a way of doing it without transcoding the files, let us know!!!!!!
