Strange TMPGEnc shut-down problem

I have been using TMPGEnc to encode for several weeks now. A strange problem now. For those of you to are familiar with the program, there is a check box on the main screen that allows you to shut the computer off automatically once the encoding is done. I like to use this option to set a batch during the day while I am working. But now I don’t see that box anymore? What the hell? I have reinstalled TMPGEnc. No help. Any ideas?
The immediate thing I did before this problem occurred was installing CCE and DVDx, and uninstalling them. I cannot figure how this can be fixed.
