"... and finally author as VCD, SVCD or DVD according to options in the "Mpeg-1 post-processing" box."

    Whoops!

I need to create an MPEG-2-TS file from .mp2 file and .m2v file holding 1280x720p29.97 (CBR, GOP of 15) at 12Mbps to 18Mbps.

The "DVD" setting creates a perfect file playable by VLC!

But, the file seems NOT to be a "TS" file of the "type" that can be written to DVHS.

What mplex switches will be set by ffmpegX if I DO NOT check VCD, SVCD or DVD?

Will no -f switch be set?

    Will -f 9 (generic MPEG-2) be set?

Can anyone steer me to an OS X app that WILL create the type of TS file I need?

    Thank you!
    Steve

OK -- I see my stupid error. The file that goes into the _TS folder is, of course, a PS file.

And I need a TS file.

Anyway to get ffmpegX to encode to TS rather than PS?
