I have been receiving an error when i try to backup some of my DVDs.
"BUP/IFO of Video Title Set #9683 contains error. The resulting
DVD may not work. Do you still want to write?"
The error occurs after it has been decoded/compressed, when i start to burn, and the #### is not the same every time. I have burned 6 of 10 DVDs successfully, 4 of them have given me this error. They are both single and dual layer, and I've tried decoding them with DVDShrink, and SmartRipper, and encoding them with DVDShrink and DVD2ONE, and burning with CloneDVD and CopyToDVD, and pretty much every combination of these programs. That error is from CopyToDVD, CloneDVD says somethign like "6 errors found" and it doesnt burn. Please help.
Also, my burner is ripping/encoding at 2-5x as it gets to the end of the disc, but i think it shoudl be going faster. My old drive went at 1.5-2.5 but the burner is brand new (NEC +/- 4x) and the computer can definately handle more than what its putting out.
Lastly, When i burn it only burns at 2x, no matter what i do for settings, and the drive is 4x as is the media. I realize this is more than one problem but the first is the only one i really care about at this point.
