  2. 1. You are going to miss your deadline. Not makeable if you knew what you were doing, which by "hi-quality AVI" I assume you mean a Divx or Xvid, as opposed to 20 Gig or so of uncompressed AVI. You could get an uncompressed AVI in one hour but you could not send or copy it to another medium in that time.

    2. This is why such procedures are outlined fully and completely, with pictures and everything, in the Guides listed on your left.

    3. You should also read the Dynamically Updated Master Breakdown for Acess to Superb Statements, also known as the FAQ. This will help you define your goal so as to ask questions that make sense. "AVI" is a generic term that requires more information.

    4. At your stage of knowledge, you are most likely several days away from producing anything at all, more time required for "hi-Quality". Depends on your reading speed.

  5. Well, no, you are not. Can you read English?

You have failed to describe the source video accurately. You have a DVD file structure, but this is HD video???

You have not read the information available to you. Check the initials on my name for the FAQ. My version describes the person who has not read this document.

Sounds like you are going to do multiple conversion to get it to the IPOD. Very basic info is that multiple conversions are to be avoided at all costs, most particularly multiple compression cycles.

AGK is decent prog, but most likely an unneeded step. Direct conversion to desired format is best, if source format is unacceptable, then decompress source to raw or uncompressed AVI.

I said weeks for "hi-quality". Maybe longer, if you continue to refuse to read the complete instructions available here, along with other useful information.

  7. Yet your other post states it plays in WMP.

Since you can not be relied upon to provide reliable, useful, or meaningful information, that makes it difficult to solve your problem.

Since you do not have the time to begin to absorb the most basic info you should have, I do not have the time to teach you all the things you need to know.

I will revise my estimate of weeks to predicting you will never get it done by yourself.

Good luck, when you have shown you are prepared to put forth the necessary effort then try again.

Since you probably did not take time to check the initials I mentioned, the acronym for the person who does not read the FAQ and basic Guides is D U M B A S S.
