  1. can anyone suggest a reason why my new drive is not recognized within nero...just got a brand new pioneer ao5 drive, put it in, started up dvdshrink, tried to rip the files and convert them, all done successfully, but when i opened up nero, it doesn't recognize my drive...any reason you folks know as to why this happens?

also tried roxio, and guess what? doesn't recognize the drive either. i'm confused, especially since i burned stuff to a dvd-rw last night and just made a copy of days of thunder using dvd decrypter to rip and burn, and it worked fine.

  5. Sorry for the cross post guys, I was just a little desperate, and I know that wasn't good manners for this board. This web page and all of its contents are way to helpful for me to be messing around. I'm truly sorry.

On to my issue, I have downloaded the file and am in the process of installing new files. Will let ya'll know how things work out.

Thanks again, and I'm sorry for my bad manners.
