    is it possible for me to take an allready authored dvd and then either make the files into mpeg2 or change the menu...i am asking this because i have some that were authored with ulead but i want to make the menus more complex with dvdit. can someone please help

  2. you can rip the video and audio off the dvd and re-author the menus and such, check out the guides posted on the left hand menu bar for all the how to's....

    if you no longer have access to the original source files, you'd treat it just like you wanted to do this to a commercial dvd - ripping, remuxing, etc.

    if all you want to do is change menus, you could use DVD Lab which supports importing VOB files, so at least you wouldn't have to go all the way back to square one.

    well i cant figure out how to do that...so is there a way to rip the video off the dvd onto DVD mpeg2?
