Playstation 2 and Downloaded MPGs

I'm trying to make DVDs with all the movies I download from Streamload. I found this guide on VCDHelp.com https://www.videohelp.com/forum/userguides/139093.php
to help me convert to the mpgs into compatible dvd mpgs with the necessary IFOs and shit with Ulead DVD Movie Factory. I had no problem making the files. I had no problem burning the disc (using Prassi Primo DVD). The disc I made doesn't work in my PS2, but they do work in regular DVD players. The PS2 recognizes the disc but it never fully loads. Does anyone out there know what I'm doing wrong?

I have to be doing something wrong becuz my cuz had bootleg DVDs and they work fine in his un-modded PS2. Someone help me plz.

look up the PS2 here: https://www.videohelp.com/dvdplayers

1) look at which formats and type of media PS2 supports.

2) read the user comments and see what other PS2 users have to say.
