I'm a newbie in this forum. Trying to convert a 8.5g dvd to dvd-r. I have read couple guides to how to rip and burn and read lots of discussion on this web. I ripped a dvd9 using DVD Decrypter, went without any glich, and tried to split it with DVDFab. While "Processing Files" (after "stripping/splitting") at the end (about 97 or 98%) of "correcting navigation packets" my WinXP gave me warning asked me to debug or report it to Microsoft and DVDFab went dead. Tried several times but no luck.
My questions are:
1.Is it a prboblem with DVDFab or the IFO file?
2.Is it because I'm using unregistered DVDFab?
3.I'm doing anything wrong?
4.Is it because I was different graphics for 'insert disk 2'?
Just I wanted to split DVD9 movie to fit on DVD5, do I need to stripp it?
What is stripping (audio streaming, subpicture streaming)?
Thanks in advance for your answers!

if you have all the file's from the origional dvd on you're harddrive you can try instant copy 7
i youse it and it never failt me.
at input select you'r drive and folder choose video_ts.ifo
at output choose you're writer.
and let it run about 2 hour's
works for me ( made 99 dvd backup's at this time.)
