Rant #1: Why do they even bother putting PCM audio on DVDs?
Rant #2: Why in the world would they put anything other than AC3 6-channel audio as the default audio?
Now, my question. I want to use DVD Shrink to take individual selections off of my music DVDs and burn them. When I do this I eliminate any audio tracks other than AC3 in order to save space and because I don't want to play those audio tracks anyway. Unfortunately, when I play back the new DVD I have to change the audio to Audio 2 even though I only have the one audio track on the DVD if the AC3 was originally anything other than Audio 1 on the original DVD. Is there a way I can have the player believe that the audio was originally Audio 1? I assume it would be with IfoEdit or VobEdit but I don't know how to go about it. I would sure appreciate any help you can give me with this. Thanks.
