I have a movie file in divx/avi format which is split into 4 parts. I'm trying to join the 4 segments together before I convert to MPEG with CCE. I've joined loads of 2 part movies using Vdub & Ndub, but this one has me stumped. I'm opening the 1st file and using File-->Append AVI segment, to join.
I can join parts 1&2 together and parts 3&4, but 2&3 don't want to join, Vdub gives an error that the audio formats are incompatible (they are both VBR MP3)
So I've now got two new movies A (1&2 joined) and B (3&4 joined), so anyone got any ideas on how to join A & B?
Cheers,
DJ

Well I would imagine the original avi was encoded with VBR then chopped into 4, so the bitrate for each section will vary - but Nandub normally joins files with differing bitrates with no problems.
