Correct me if I am wrong, but I thing omega_weapon means creating an animation of sorts, converting it to an mpg, then using it as a "first play" of some sort (DVD, etc.) or splicing it onto the mpg video.
Animation apps, anyone? First thing to pop into my peabrain was Macromedia Flash, but I am probably way off base... -
I think I didn't explained well...
I mean, like the Titles that you can put on the mpg/avi video with Ulead VS., I want to do the same, but with jpg images, instead of titles. -
I understand what you mean.
I think VCDeasy will do the job for you.
I think this program has an option for making an mpg-sequence out of jpeg-images.
Have a look on this site under "Author" /photo album.
I found it there a few months ago

Ulead video studio can do exactly what you want to do. Import an image file and stick it in the timeline before the movie with some type of transition between the two (or moving path- it's been so long I can't remember if VS has those).
