    hi!
i'm making a 4:3 pal dvd in maestro and after i imported all media and subtitles i make a preview to see if my menu works and it's all just fine...
the sound sync, the subs, the chapters, etc...
the problem is after i compile my project to a new directory...
i launch power dvd 5 to make a preview before i burn it and the subs are with a green colour when they should be white as in the navigator simulator in maestro...
    wath is this?
    some way to turn around?
i already try out with the method of ifoedit to change the subs colours and no luck...any one can help me ?
    sorry my bad english
    thanks

  3. What program are you using to Extract the subtitles?

I'm assuming you are using SupRip? You are extracting the subs and importing them into Maestro with suprip's output ".son" file?

If so, I haven't used subtitles in Maestro for awhile now because I don't care for them, personally. I only use them in movies where certain scenes are not hard coated into the audio stream, and you can't decipher what is being said, as in some of the Star Wars films.

Anyway, I remember that when I did import subtitles using subrip and Maestro...once the .son file was imported, it had to be edited in order to get the proper subtitles colors. It's been a long time since i've done a movie with subtitles but I remember having to use the color palette to edit the subtitles color.

I don't remember exactly how to do this....i'm thinking I used subadjust somehow as well...I remember something about an .ssa file.... hopefully someone else can elaborate on this further....at this point....the only thing I can tell you for sure is you are missing a step or two. You need to adjust the subtitles color, which is why you are getting them green, etc.

If I remember exactly, I'll come back and edit the post. Hopefully someone else will beat me to the punch and help you first.
