  1. I'm trying the basic version of Cinema Craft encoder and can't seem to get it to accept avi files. It says it does but I get an error message stating
"can't open ed file". What gives?
    Thanks

  2. download dvd2svcd from www.dvd2svcd.org and try CCE with that . Based on not having any information on what the source, is that would be my only advice. By doing this, you can ensure that things are set up correctly to go to CCE

    I suggest reading this

Also an .ecl file is the CCE project file. Try right clicking the big white area n the middle of CCE's main window and when it says "add", then go and import the avi.
Read the guide and a whole lot wil be made clear.

    Goodluck,

    This is so much fun!

  4. VC, thanks for the reply. It appears that some of my avi files had a fps that were not acceptable to CCE. When I got home and tried a few other files, they worked but there are some that just don't.
Just for laughs and giggles I tried these in TMPGenc and they were accepted.
It's all good as long as I know my $$$ spent on CCE is working.
    Thanks again.
