  1. Using Vdub or AVI_IO selecting Source and S-video as input..
    Here the picture is in wonderful color, but as soon as I press "OK" to close the Video Source window, it turns black and white ?!?!?!

    I just can't seem to make it stay in color....HELP!

  2. Had a similar problem. This is what solved it for me.

    1. Remove the S-Video entry in the channel setup program. Add an S-Video/composite entry using the defaults, making sure you check the S-Video box.

    2. In AVI-IO/VirtualDub be in preview mode.

    3. Now select video source and make sure S-Video/camera is selected.

    4. Sometimes when performing other operations, such as Video Format, driver seems to default back to Composite. Just open and close the source dialog again.
