  1. Hello, I am not sure where to go for help with something like this, and I figured that maybe this would be a good place to start. I use a program called ISO Buster to extract MPG Files out of BIN Files. Until recently I have had no problems doing this. But today I tried to extract a BIN and it gave me an error stating:

    Sector 450 Couldn't Be Read
    Error 05/64/01

    Ignore Retry or Quit.

I tried a few other ISO extraction programs such as WinISO and UltraISO. These programs extract the ISOs without any errors like I listed above. But when I try to play the MPG file in Windows Media Player 9, it does nothing. I tried to play it in PowerDVD and it loads and I hear sound, but the picture is all wacked out. I can see a little bit of video at the top of the screen, but the rest of the screen is blocked out with green distortion and blockiness. I have tried to extract a few different BIN Files and they all yield the same green results. Any help anyone can offer is greatly appreciated.

    Thank you for your time.

  2. Easy one. I have been through this before. First off vcdgear is better to extract the bin...make sure the fix MPEG errors is checked. If it does not work for you then get yourself alcohol120% and it will definitely do the job...it has a special function for reading vcd's and bins w/ errors.

    Hope this helps.

If you have any more questions about this just reply.
