Do you want to keep it in DVD native format or do you want to convrt it? If so, to what?

Smartripper allows you to rip by chapter. Now when you say dub a new audio track over it do you plan to make a x(S)VCD? Is so then just use you audio track and the rip for video. What are you trying to do?

I'm going to try and make an SVCD using the last chapter of 2001
pace oddesy dubbed with the pink floyd song breathe. It synchs up perfectly and is a real trip to watch.

Then just rip the chapter, encode the audio you want as MP2 or wav. Then mux them. If you want to make sure they match up or add extra affects load everything in VDub first.
