  1. Hi,

I'm interested in finding out how I would hook up a slideshow projector to my MAC to copy the slides for a video editing project?

I'm assuming that I can hook the projector (like an Infocus projector) to my camcorder (Sony TRV-720) via the RCA connectors and then via firewire from camcorder to PowerMAC G4?

Any feedback would be great. I don't have a project or I'd try it, but I'd like to know as a customer is asking. I'm assuming I can.

    Thanks,
    Jedi

I own a PC, but I hope the information I give you here can help you anyway. Since your camera is capable of signal conversion (pass through), you only need to find the RCA connectors on your Infocus machine that send video and audio out. Connect these two to the A/V cable for your camera and connect the other end to your camera.

Use the iLink (firewire) cable from your camera to your computer's firewire port. Configure your camera according to page 60 in your owner's manual. Voilą!

I normally skip the Mac forums, but a person who does research for his customer, is a good guy in my opinion. Hope this helps!
