I just burned a Data CD using WinXP and it worked great and everything was just dandy. Then I wanted to put the files on my dads laptop, which is using Win98, and it didnt even recognize the disk. Then i tried it on my dad's desktop computer, also running Win98, and it did the same thing. I burned about four disks, using two different programs and none of them worked. So I was thinking that it might be because im using WinXP and then trying it on Win98, but i mean its just jpg files so i dunno. Or maybe its my burner but i dont think so because it burns everything else just fine. O yeah im using a Sony DRU-510A.
Thanks

i read somthing about this on the winxp update page
there is an update which allows you to make files recognisable on older operating systems like win98 and win me
also check out tweakxp.com for future help on winxp and extra tricks -
I think you are not going to read NTFS files on a FAT32 computer. Vice versa, yes. 98 can't read NTFS

Well the drive that my OS is on is FAT32 and my other HDD that i use for editing and stuff is NTFS.
