  1. I just bought a 27incher for the bedroom. Got a good deal on it. But the bottom cuts off a few inches and there's no way to adjsut it.

What I mean is like if I goto CNN or MSNBC the ticker/scroller thing at the bottom is unreadable, its pushed nearly offscreen with no way to raise it up. I exchanged it thinking it was broken.. the next one does the same. are Apex TV's just like that or what? There is NO way to adjust it. I read through the manually backwards and forwards, I played with the remote.. I looked for knobs on the tv itself.. I can live with it for the deal I got. I just wanted to make sure other Apex's are like that.. I didnt even notice it was cut off by a few inches at the bottom til I turned to CNN

I have a 13 incher Apex that I got last year, and yes, the bottom is cut off half way through... didn't really notice it until I just checked it now... interesting. No adjustment knobs here either.

Oh well, for the $50 I paid for it, I can't complain.

I have a 27" Apex tv and the bottom doesn't seem to be cut off anymore than on any other tv. All tv's crop 12-16 pixels on all sides, perhaps some Apex's crop more, but mine doesn't.

If you can find the sequence of keys with the remote you can fix that. Then you can have a full scan TV. Don't bother taking the cabinet apart, you won't find anything to adjust. Almost all modern TV are setup through the remote as they flow past a computer operated video camera that set them up to certain parameters. You can also make a very big picture change by adjusting the gamma back to where it should be, instead of the much to dark that most are set to.
Hope is the trap the world sets for you every night when you go to sleep and the only reason you have to get up in the morning is the hope that this day, things will get better... But they never do, do they?

I have the 20" TV, and have never seen it cutting off the bottom. I even looked at CNN, and it looked fine to me.
