I installed a Cendyne(NEC 1100A) DVD+ burner 2 days ago. I successfully backed up a few DVDs using DVDShrink and NERO. No coasters. These play fine on my stand-alones.
BUT
I can't play any DVDs on the computer. Do I need to install software for this?
Thanks in advance!

Yes you need to install software. Most drives come with either PowerDVD or WinDVD so install that software.

Thanks for responding quickly. The quality(?) of the (lack of) information that came with the Burner is appaling. I will look again (more closely) at the software that came with it.
Thanks again!
