  1. What is the best program to use for burning movies to DVD plz.

    #1 do not ask "what is best", there is NO answer to this question in any aspect. there is no best player, encoder, format, or anything else for that matter. the best is what works best for you and only YOU can tell what works best for you.

    Also it is a freeware. 30 day full version trial. After 30 days either by it or download the newest version for another 30 days, and so on.
    that's not "freeware", that's just a bad protection scheme.

    free trial or not, if they expect you to pay, it's shareware at the very least.

    as for what I use to burn - Nero. Right now I'm using version 5.5.10.20, works fine.

  6. Many people in this forum find great success with RecordNow Max. I have both Nero and RCM, but use RCM because of version issues with Nero while burning DVDs. I think those issues with Nero have been ironed out with later versions though.
