I have to encode these MPEG2 files in order to reverse the field order so as to remove jitter. TMPG gives me an m2v file and a wav file. The wav file seems to be correct in length and size but when I play it I get nothing. Is there some setting in TMPG I'm missing or do I have to demux, and then encode the video.
_While I'm at it, is there any capture software that I can set to 'field order A first' for MPEG2 capturing, in order to skip the encoding process completely?
thanks in advance.
