Hi all,
I've done something really stupid- I set up a batch of files for TMPGEnc Plus to work on over night, creating half-D1 MPEG2 m2v files for me to use authoring a DVD.
It seems to have worked fine on all 6 files - but I forgot to change the aspect ratio in TMPGEnc to 4:3 - the sources are AVI's and I accidentally left the (output) aspect ratio as 1:1.
So, when I play the files back they are all very tall and narrow, and I am not conviced I can use them as they are to author my DVD.
Is there any way I can change the aspect ratio without going back to the start and re-encoding all of these files? I am hoping that the aspect ratio is just in the header of these m2v files, and that I can edit just that... but maybe this is wishful thinking!
I have searched for info on this, but not come up with anything useful.
Any help appreciated!
thanks.
theDruid.

Thanks guys!!
It looks like ReStream was exactly what I needed - I've changed the aspect ratio on the first file, and it now looks perfect.
I came pretty close to deleting all these files thinking I'd have to run the whole batch again; I'm glad I didn't now!
Thanks again for your quick responses.
cheers,
