Hiya chaps, I am new to this forum so I would just like to say hello.
I am trying to put my cd collection onto my computer and was wondering what the best software is to use. I have been using Windows Media Player but if I put a dance cd on where all the songs mix in, it puts an annoying gap in between each song.
Does anybody know if I can get rid of the gap or is there any other better software I can use without this annoying gap between songs ?
Cheers for any help

Is Goldwave a free program or do you have to buy it ??
If its free, where can I download it from ?
Thanks m8 -
If Window based, my favorite is CDex. It can do almost anything with a audio file you may need, mp3/wav ect. and a no brainer to use.

Click here to download Gold Wave. It is commercial software. The trial version allows 120 commands before reloading it again. There is also a toll counter on the main screen to remind you how much you use it. The registered version removes this restriction and the counter.
Hello. -
You could also use Audiograbber (either the free or the buy version)- http://www.audiograbber.com-us.net/
I did quite a few CDs a year or two ago and used Audiograbber to rip the songs, then Goldwave to edit.
